This easy-to-access handbook covers the most common and useful reconstructive flaps used in plastic surgery. Relevant facts about flap anatomy, indications, and potential complications are covered as well as a succinct but practical description of the set-up and operative technique itself.

Each flap surgery is well illustrated with line drawings for clarity and select clinical photos, and includes surgical video. The authors are faculty and alumni of the Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, which is well known for performing one of the largest volumes of reconstructive procedures of any center in the world.
